About
My name is Garrett. I am a psychologist and cognitive behavioral therapist in training based in Berlin, fluent in both English and German. Originally from Boulder, Colorado, I have been living in Berlin since 2014. My journey abroad has equipped me with a deep understanding of the challenges that come with relocating to a new culture. I have worked with a number of clients in various hardships ranging from depression and anxiety to personality disorders, OCD, ADHD, and addiction. Being a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community has gifted me a plethora of personal insights into the unique challenges marginalized communities face. Racial, sex, gender, and economic realities are of great importance to me. I am continuously working to understand those of my clients, as well as my own, and be aware of situations for which my ability to understand is limited.
